Gracie & I wore more than 300 names on our tutus as we ran the Chicago marathon & it was truly an honour to carry them with us ā¤ļø This girl smashed her 1st marathon (despite a longest run of 10 miles!) with grit & determination- I couldnāt be more proud and Laura would be too š

Tomorrow will be tough, but weāll be running with Laura in our hearts & she was the toughest of all. Gracie is doing her best with the restrictions of her Ehlers Danlos diagnosis but I know how determined she is to finish so fingers crossed! @ChiMarathon #BeMoreLaura š

I have so much respect for @true_north_res and her tenacity in the face of this awful disease. She created https://t.co/tsqcEh56Gr to give hope to anyone unlucky enough to be dealing with the devastation of a brain cancer diagnosis. Truly inspirational x

āThere is nothing we can do about death, so itās pointless to worry about it. A life spent railing against anything which is beyond our control will be a frustrating one.ā This is one of my favourite passages in Simon Boasā book. https://t.co/BF6lKv8cpN

Just imagine, being able to diagnose brain tumours through the analysis of tears. This could be such an incredible game changer, amazing work being carried out by Professor Hamerlik in Manchester @OfficialUoM Laura would love this š
Prof Petra Hamerlik, part of our Brain Tumour theme, is leading research funded by #StandUpToCancer (from @CR_UK & @Channel4) exploring how tear fluid could offer early warning signs of brain tumours. A simple eye test could be a game-changer. š§Ŗ š https://t.co/3XDMJWUoHd

Brain cancer is so utterly cruel & indiscriminate It could affect anyone one of us & only then do we find out treatments havenāt changed in decades & research is woefully underfunded. Itās heartbreaking but weāre fighting for change #BrainCancerJustice

Oh Kerri, that means the absolute world to me. Thank you so much for taking the time to read it xx #TheStarsWillStillBeThere
@shitscaredmum I bought it when you first published it, but wasn't in the right mood to read it, I knew I had to give it the time. The headspace it deserved. That time was now . It truly is the most beautifully written book I've ever read. I laughed and cried. Xx
