I get it...most of you think the mere concept of Scottish Hip Hop is stupid. Rap is bad enough, right? Last thing we need is it being performed in a Scottish accent. But hear me out. What if someone wrote an album which specifically addressed this very issue? And not just that,

Maybe this is Scotland in general. As a creative, if you aren't "connected" then yer fucked. Repeatedly bang yer head against a wall and hope you don't die before a brick shifts. Fuck it. Time to write a Creative Scotland application? At least that'd be a laugh, right?

Don't know where we go from here. Unlike Oor Nicola I genuinely do have 'plenty left in the tank' but I don't have a direction. With there being literally no opportunities out there for me to grow, I'm really struggling to see what comes next.

Still feeling pretty despondent Was gonna write one of those long essay tweets explaining it all but what's the point, eh? I think my "moment" has passed I was useful to some people for a while (as long as I reflected their bullshit right back at them) Alas

Many of you are more enraged by those trying to do something to change things than you are with those responsible for that change being necessary in the first place. I don't know what that says about you but I guarantee it's not good

I'm fairly convinced these same women would have utterly denigrated the suffragettes if they were alive back then. It's just all some bothersome, isn't it?

What the hell happened to Suzanne Moore et al? Absolutely pitiful stuff that doesn't stand up to a moment's scrutiny. These people write of an inverted reality that bares no resemblance to what's happening (or indeed the structures of power). Quite ironic, eh?

Although don't be surprised if this rears its head again once the heat dies down. Because that's how this Scottish Government rolls these days. The corporate lobbyists always win
