Big news, hopefully it plays out. #Indonesia especially challenging because: - 10s of thousands of distributed islands costly to interconnect - High population and industrial energy needs - Low land availability and solar potential SMRs potentially fix all of these.
NuScale is proud to be selected by a @USTDA and Indonesia Power partnership to deliver clean energy access to the region. "The proposed 462-megawatt facility would utilize NuScale’s SMR technology and advance Indonesia’s clean energy transition."
