Today members of the Jefferson community gathered to take part in the Walk for Gun Violence Awareness. They walked to remember those we have lost to gun violence, and to help prevent the loss of future lives.

Today I’m at Philadelphia City Hall with the @TJUHospital trauma department training anyone that comes by on how to use a tourniquet and treat a severe wound - for free! Stop by before 3pm. 👏

Today I’m with our trauma team giving free training to anyone on how to save a using a tourniquet. 💙
Today is @acsSTOPTHEBLEED Day and the Jefferson Trauma Outreach team is in the Jefferson @SEPTAPHILLY station giving free tourniquet training to anyone interested until 5 p.m. It takes five minutes and you could save a life.

Democracy achievement unlocked: Woke up in labor this morning. Waited for the polls to open. Waddled to my polling place across the street. Voted for @RebeccaRhynhart for next Philly mayor. Immediately left for the hospital. Delivered a baby 5 hours after casting my ballot.
