There are ways to increase safety for kids on social without entirely taking away their right to privacy. Imagine being a teenager in Utah from an abusive family, or maybe you're exploring your sexuality. You just had a lifeline to the outside world cut off. @UtahGov Do better.
Utah's governor signed a bill Thursday that prohibits social media services from allowing users under 18 to have accounts without parental consent. The measure will also require networks to give Utah parents access to their children’s posts and messages.
