Proposal 20 is one most significant proposals this cycle as it would take away scheduling discretion from schools. Teams will be placed into a region w/ 6-8 schools based on enrollment, alignment, and location. Each team will play 5 games within their ‘region’ and 4 games outside
Among Proposals 10-19, Proposal 19 (overhaul of football) is most significant. This would mean every school w/ a 3-6 record would qualify for the state playoffs w/ a handful of 2-7 teams qualifying. But I think this format would lead to further changes and will address such in

Last wk, the Indy Star’s Kyle Neddenriep reported the Case Review Panel reversed the IHSAA and provided Fishers forward Kai McGrew with full eligibility. McGrew reportedly lived in the district but attended Lawrence North and later transferred to Fishers bc of transportation
Last month, it was reported Fishers forward Kai McGrew was ruled ineligible after transferring from Lawrence North and despite residing in Fishers for the past 2 years. His case reminds me of Jayden Brewer’s which ultimately was an embarrassing result for the IHSAA. Also note

Your prior experience influences how you will practice on the bench. If you don’t have defense experience, you’ll have trouble scrutinizing search warrants, charging information, and penal offenses. You’re more likely to internalize law enforcement’s narrative and be dismissive
@shayhugheslaw Just how many more career prosecutors on the bench do we need? Not a one of them has run his own shop, met a payroll, dealt with clients and their families, none of them sweated cash flow, taxes, everything was given to them and they earned nothing.
