I am not fond of corporations using our culture for personal gain. That's what I consider appropriation. When Muslims wear clothes from other Muslim countries, it is not malicious or for the sake of profit. It's appreciation, it comes from a place of respect and love.

@sharghzadeh I actually agree with her. Muslims throughout the West are losing their identity to liberalism. Pushing a mishmash of Muslim sub-cultures into a melting pot of a Muslim community, Muslim kids are just going to feel more and more alone.

@sharghzadeh No. Cultural appropriation is not a western problem. Never the so-called "ummah" was a Cosmopolitan empire who all culture created 1. Never. It's a fantasm. However, all people can wear a other a cloth as long they recognize the Origin and don't appropriate.

@sharghzadeh @TheRealFan26 Dude misunderstanding that one of the big reasons Islam is so widespread is because it has a level of standardization that bridges the gaps between cultures, you can have two Muslims from the opposite parts of the world with very different lives but still share the same values.
