If a new league is to be set up, a 6-month format is the best approach. It provides meaningful game time and benefits fans, players, clubs, and the MNT. Any other format (e.g. 1-month Shahska psl style) is only conducive to the organisers and not the football ecosystem.
I have proposed a season (6 month) long league for Pakistan football, not a flashy, one month cash-grab tournament. A proper league with home and away fixtures, equity ownership in the league for the teams, derbies with two clubs per city, and mandatory womens teams playing

Well isnt that pretty normal? You ramp up the intensity when you're a few days away from the game and slowly reduce when approaching game day. As basic as anything and no idea why it's in the media hyped as some revolutionary method .
