Imagine the Irish concrete federation advised @NSAI_Standards on the defective homes disaster in Donegal and one of the members on the technical committee is in fact the director of the company that caused the disaster….seems unbelievable really…

Take 5 minutes to watch ..... then realise nothing has changed except for some families who have rebuilt and put themselves in debt.

PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO Reality for many pensioners & vulnerable people: mould, damp, unsafe homes. This couple is just one example. These conditions don’t appear overnight — they happen when systems fail. If government schemes truly worked, no one would live like this😥

Unless you live in a defective home, you can’t imagine it freezing cold in winter, always damp, battling illness & rising costs. If the scheme worked, would we live like this? Now the rest of the country is catching up. Our Redress Party fight but we need more for a future

So @MichealMartinTD while you visit different countries pledging millions, in Ireland pensioners and taxpayers are left to live in homes like this. A scheme that clearly isn’t working. Can you understand their anger?

Only a tiny minority have rebuilt—and they had to go into debt to do it. The rest of the homeowners are stuck watching their lives on hold. This failure is on the system, not the people

€2.6m weekly profit…! 😭 restaurants, cafes are dying here. Genuinely blown away by this figure and just tired of shouting into the void about it all.

Have to agree, as someone in a defective home, this is no longer a democracy or a government who looks after its citizens. Posturing on world stages supporting war with a check book but ignores the taxpayers needs and wants @MichealMartinTD priorities?

An Taoiseach Micheál Martin and Minister Charlie McConalogue spent the day lying at the home of Claire and Greg McDaid. @michealmartin you sat in her kitchen and told her you would give a REAL 100% Redress to the home owners you LIED

They filled and sealed the chimney. Now this family is left without heat. They just want a warm home… but not this winter, apparently. And the government couldn’t care less.

Ireland is waking up to the fact that Donegal’s #DefectiveConcreteCrisis was never just ours. It’s spreading county by county, the result of years of Government failures. Thousands of innocent homeowners affected. Greed instead of Governance. @fiannafailparty @FineGael

Chimney’s shot, no heat, and no help for this family. Just trying to keep a home safe while the government looks the other way. Frustrating and exhausting... how is this family to heat their home

Most of Gaza's survivors live in tents. Heavy winter rain has flooded their tents, leaving them in desperately cold conditions. Israel is still blocking aid from entering. Don't forget Gaza.

Children shiver in tents that cannot keep out the rain, with no shelter to protect them and no clothes to warm their small bodies. The cold strikes them, hunger crushes them, while the world remains silent before their suffering.

Why are we treated like second class citizens in Donegal and the west of Ireland? 3,000 families in Dublin and Leinster rightly have received 100% redress. Why do they continue to refuse 100% redress for families in Donegal and the west?

For once I agree with a senior government minister. It must be a slow day for social democrats. Right now there are more pressing issues than asking kids whose brains are not fully developed to vote.

Speaking to Gript, a Senior Government Minister has described the Social Democrats’ proposal to lower the voting age to 16 as “a load of bullshit”: https://t.co/lOVN6U72rT
