Baseball is tough. The players who take care of themselves on a more consistent basis, even though it's the ugly part of training, tend to be in the best position physically to go out and preform. Make the ugly a habit. Fall in love with the process.

Nothing is more important than rotating and working the core in your training sessions. These help enhance your ability to generate more force and decelerate better in your movement. This helps prevent strain on the shoulder joint and lower back. Rotate more to rotate better.
