Across the United States, research findings show that the construction and use of arenas have extreme negative effects. Read up on these findings, compiled by your fave (me). And see what you can do to take action against the 76ers arena proposal. https://t.co/ekKaawC6XP

This is absolutely what health care should look like. Anything less is malpractice. Take notes, @HealthNS.

I post about my struggles being excluded from the holidays - which are NOT related to Covid - and I get trolled for Covid paranoia. This is why I say that I’m concerned the pandemic has made people even less empathetic to the plight of the disabled and chronically ill. /1 🧵

Do any covid conscious folks have dentist recommendations in Philly? Prefer if the dentist's office has a mask policy, even better if they also run HEPA filters. Looking to get my teeth cleaned and to not get sick in the process.

David Adelman smugly ended the call saying "I know that people are upset that they didn't get to harass us on Zoom. We want everyone to get the facts and we are looking forward to continuing the dialogue." WHAT DIALOGUE????
Sixers zoom webinar included *checks notes* a 35 minute recorded lecture on @76Place. Finally they're getting into Q&A. No chat open, can't see other participants, can't even see the Qs being asked. It's still one big lecture. #76Place #GetTheFacts

To be clear: Tin House has implemented an indoor mask mandate and has hosted a good portion of gatherings (ex: workshops, readings) outdoors. Without these policies, @chiyeung , as the primary caretaker of an immunocompromised person (me) would not have been able to attend.

Listening to @chiyeung tell me about Tin House this week has made me feel so thankful to the organizers who have committed to accessibility in this ongoing pandemic. I hope that more disabled writers and their caretakers can continue to attend THSW into the future.
