Veteran LHP @k3vin_fig emptied the tank in his final start at Bowie's Ballpark. He used his 5-pitch mix to induce tons of weak contact and topped out at a season-best 91.9 mph. 7 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 5 K against the No. 6 team in the country. An absolute gamer on the mound. Sign him!

Well deserved! Jesús (El Campeón 👑) demolished every baseball in sight this weekend: 2 HRs, 2 2Bs, 6 RBI, and 6 batted balls over 100 mph. Not to mention, he showed off his cannon of an arm, nabbing a runner at the plate in a one-run game. #GUYrenes

No surprises here — @HunterCashero was money this week, shutting out the No. 6 team in the country. His fastball was electric, topping out at 94.3 with an impressive VAA of -3.6 at the top of the zone. Sadly, Trackman issues mean no movement data, but the FB-CH combo is lethal!

Also, if you know of a way to estimate arm angle from trackman data I would love to hear it! I wasn’t able to get a close enough estimate using only player height and release position. (Is computer vision the move? 💻👀).

In the future I hope to add stuff+ scores, implement execution/location+ with the location plots in some way, and display arm angle data for each pitch type.

The final table at the bottom shows pitch usage and effectiveness by batter handedness. No cells are colored due to such small sample sizes. This can be used to see how usage strategies and effectiveness differ by batter handedness.
