Median one-yr cost of $37,913 USD (3X higher than cost of avg HF and AMI admission in Canada). Cost was $63,539 for those readmitted to hospital and $77,643 in lowest home time quartile. Clearly reducing disability and maintaining independence is key for cost-effectiveness!

#Cardiogenicshock is associated with high morbidity/mortality but little is known about associated costs. Our analysis of 9,789 AMI-CS patients in Ontario reveals SIGNIFICANT associated cost - both in hospital and post discharge @JACCJournals @rebeccamathewmd @shanfernands

Early formalized research training increases fellowship and early career academic productivity. Trainees with early training publish more frequently, produce more first/last publications, and are cited more often. #CJC 👉 https://t.co/bzhHYagQJT
