This is a fatal flaw in Melvin’s process. Refusal to part with draft picks for proven commodity veterans that can contribute right away. But on draft night? It’s the Wild Wild West. Trade all the picks away to move up for someone he’s stuck on and won’t leave the draft without.

The #Titans have traded DL Dre’Mont Jones to the #Ravens for a conditional 5th rounder that could become a 4th-rounder. Jones has 4.5 sacks this season and has been one of Tennessee’s most productive players.
