@NewYorkStateAG is absolutely right to sue. Trump's USDA has no legal authority to cut SNAP benefits from green card holders, who are legal permanent residents in this country. This is cruel, unlawful, and un-American.
I'm suing @USDA over its illegal attempt to cut off SNAP benefits for lawful permanent residents. As many as 35,000 New Yorkers could lose food assistance and states face billions in unjust penalties. I’ll always fight to protect access to food for our children and families.
