Every time I see Sea of Souls in a list like this I just have to pinch myself ๐ญ๐ So grateful for all the support these books have gotten over the last few years, especially to be mentioned in the same breath as some other fantastic series!

I sold a book in Sweden today. ๐ธ๐ช I don't know why, but every time I sell a book in a different market to my usual sales, it makes me unreasonably giddy. There's something so exciting about knowing my books are being picked up all over the world!

This is one of my pet peeves as an author. ๐ฎโ๐จ And Rach is totally right - you see it happening with female authors way more than male authors.
A prospective reader told me that because the romantic subplot in my fantasy book isnโt spicy, the book must therefore be YA. are we telling male authors the same thing? I like spice but it isnโt the marker of an adult book.
