Andrés gives great, actionable feedback and doesn’t mind telling you when he loves something (or dislikes it) which is great 🔥. I’m so excited for the world to see the first chapter in the Crystallium Depths saga, my love letter to the Final Fantasy franchise.
"Cracks of the Deepest Black" by @Stat_Mo1 was such a pleasant vibe. Like going back to the old Final Fantasy games. You can feel Greg nailed the energy and the narrative and I wish I had more coherent thoughts!.

Being a fantasy author is…. Having to explain to some family members that you just like including magic in your work— no you don’t want to write a police procedural, a sci-fi, or anything historical. Unless of course… there’s a decent touch of magic in it.
Bring a fantasy author is. Lying in bed when you should be sleeping typing out the lyrics to a tavern song for a book you haven't written because inspiration struck. Your turn authors.

I missed most of this. Time Zones. What I did catch, great. Huge point that some might find contentious: You need to do your best to put your best work out, whether indie, trad, or other. Get outside eyes on your work. Make sure your cover is professional. Put in the effort.
