If Israeli insists on continue to smear the brave, starving and diminishing pool of Palestinian journalists, of whom 200 have already been killed, as Hamas operative: there is a simple answer. Let international journalists in.

This isn’t true. It was Israel that has been routinely refusing permits for the UN to distribute aid. Israel has total control over what is distributed in Gaza. The UN does not starve people for some nefarious political reason. The lying needs to stop and the aid needs to flow.
Israel brought international journalists into Gaza to view the large stockpiles of aid that the UN failed to distribute, while screaming about famine. Now they have been exposed, UN have resumed distribution, with 270+ truckloads of aid delivered yesterday and today.

The Israeli government is consistently telling untruths about Gaza that the IDF, of all people, are now routinely calling out. The UN is not refusing to distribute their aid piled up inside the border: Israel is refusing them permits to do so. The truth needs to be told.

The IDF has killed starving Palestinian civilians trying to get aid. Settler terrorism and talk of imposing the illegal E1 settlement plan are flagrant attempts to prevent a Palestinian state. There is no justification for this. A two-state solution is the only path to peace.

Israel says it has bigger jobs to do than look after foreign journalists in Gaza. I'm not asking them to look after me. I'm just asking them to let me in. I'll look after myself as I do in every war zone I visit. We have freer access to Sudan, Congo & Yemen than we have to Gaza.

Let me be clear: there are brave, now starving, Palestinian journalists inside Gaza. Israel says they are all Hamas. To believe Israel is also to disbelieve every doctor, aid agency, Palestinian journalist and even their own soldiers, inside Gaza. Let foreign journalists in.

It's not a journalist's job to say this person says it's raining and this person says it isn't. It's our job to go outside and see if we get wet. The evidence of starvation coming out of Gaza is overwhelming. If Israel wishes to dispute this, the solution is simple: let us in.

When there is “a famine of the truth” you allow in those who bear witness to do so. Israel is not allowing it. Let in foreign independent journalist and investigators, if you don’t believe the doctors, the aid workers, the civilians, your own soldiers and civilian contractors.
