Totally agree! So many kids & people around them get offended when you say a player is D2 or D3/NAIA. They take it as "If you don't think I'm D1 then you think I'm not a good player." It is about finding level where you can succeed not having the "status" of D1 while not playing

Shhh! You can't say a player is one of those levels or they get offended because it is D1 or nothing. 🙄 Recruits need to watch a game at these levels to realize how good you have to be to play at a D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO!
So many good basketball players outside the D1 level. Highly encourage high school recruits to get out and watch a D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO game in person. The game is faster than you think. Not everyone is going D1 so get out and see what other options there are.
