Due to where Labor Day falls on the calendar next year, Week 1 of college football is on 9/5 and there is only one built in BYE week. It’s going to feel totally different for myself and fellow K-State fans who will see game one on 8/23 and there are three BYE weeks.

If I was Czar of CFB I would cut it down to one portal in April, abolish spring football in favor of 5 unpadded practices in March, and 10 unpadded practices in early summer. Cut down the portal rush during Bowl SZN and refresh antiquated offseason practice format.
