the closing scene with the parents drinking wine and watching the snow fall, and looking at the Christmas tree then cutting to the kids in their room always makes me feel warm inside. "Glorious, Beautiful Christmas" playing with the final monologue and snow scene is so great.
the Bumpus Hounds getting a turkey feast is great. Dogs deserve a festive holiday meal too. Leaving the turkey out like that was asking for madness.

One of the fun things from "A Christmas Story" is seeing stuff like the 48 star US Flag and other things on the wall and chalk board in the classroom scenes to put you in the time frame of when the movie takes place.
