out of all the stawyck noir films i’ve watched, crimes of passion (1957) pales in comparison. the pacing is leisurely, the ending anticlimactic. her performance carried the film (as w/ every other stanwyck film), but i appreciate the film’s subtle anti-nuclear family propaganda
