Call it whatever you want, a deal. An accord. A power sharing arrangement. Confidence and supply with concessions. Labor are preparing to govern with the support of the Greens. Today, when pressured, Dean let the cat out of the bag. #politas https://t.co/FMeNqs7VLS

Anything short of a fully-costed alternative budget, including revenue and expenditure measures, will show @DeanWinterMP ’s fiscal credentials are as worthless as each one of his three birth certificates.

From his contribution this morning, it’s quite clear to see that Labor’s newest MP is firmly in the anti-stadium/ anti-team camp. And with @DeanWinterMP completely going to water in QT today, it would suggest that Mr Farrell’s vote in the party room may be the decider.

The anti-everything Mayor was absent from proceedings that oversaw a vote in favour of stopping yet another chance to get Tasmanians up our mountain The Rockliff Liberal Government backs our tourism industry and will always support sensible tourism opportunities for our State.

When the Cable Car came before HCC the blockers claimed it was due to the application not being compliant with planning rules rather than ideological opposition. They belled the cat last night voting against the zipline which adhered to the planning scheme on all counts. #politas

Last night the Hobart City Council has voted to block a zipline on Mt Wellington despite having been given go ahead by planning experts. This is yet another case of HCC blocking sensible and exciting development on our mountain. #politas

With Bec White jumping ship from @TasmanianLabor today, it is only appropriate that @DeanWinterMP asks her to stand down immediately as a Tasmanian Member of Parliament. Tasmanian taxpayers deserve a full-time MP who campaigns for her local community, not for Federal Labor.

The decision by the Hobart City Council, and the spread of misinformation seen in recent days, is exactly why we need Development Assessment Panels. Once again, no one is surprised the anti-everything brigade are up in arms.

The anti-development ideology of the HCC was on full display tonight. As a councillor, I saw first-hand the need for Development Assessment Panels, with projects amounting to hundreds of homes, hotels, and hospital beds falling victim to political decisions by councillors.

Our Development Assesment Panels Bill backs in common sense over the NIMBYs. No one is surprised the anti-everything brigade is cranky. The question is whether the Opposition will back in jobs, jobs, jobs or get back in bed with the Greens to stop development in Tas? #politas

What happened to jobs, jobs, jobs @deanwinterMP? In the space of 15 minutes today, Labor highlighted the need for more jobs and then declared their opposition for a major project which would create more than 500 of them. The year of Olympic-level back flips continues 🤸‍♂️
