SQL question: what is the best data type to use for years before 1901? Smallint, char(4)?.

Ok. I think I’ve run into some issues with MongoDB. I’m wondering if I have the shell installed correctly. I followed a tutorial on YT that seemed pretty easy. However, it won’t receive my password and I’m getting a Bad Auth response.

The thing that I like about MongoDB is that each document can be written in its own way. Of course, I want some type of normalization, and my brain is thinking in that direction. But I like the freedom. I think that will make me better at my schemas.

So far, mongodb is fun. My fingers just need to get used to this kind of keying.

I’m ready to start learning MongoDB. Where do I start?.

I’ve had to reinstall MySQL Server on one of my codeling’s laptops. I changed the path in the environment variables, started git bash back up and now I’m getting a message “Error: unrecognized option: ‘—v’” when I type mysql -u root -p. HELP!.
