Since everyone is shouting about oil bonds, let’s also look at the much larger liabilities created after 2014. These are bonds and off-budget borrowings that future governments and taxpayers will have to pay. • Sovereign Gold Bonds: ~₹70,000 crore issued (8-year maturity).

This is what India should have been — an industrial giant. Instead, our comprador bourgeoisie chose easy money by building services & startups while decimating state-owned industries, with no other capability beyond exploiting India's unemployed & endless supply of cheap labour.

Colonization is not the reason why India is poor. It has been 80 years of independence. India is poor because of: 1. Restrictive labor laws 2. Rigid and untitled land markets 3. Highly subsidized agriculture 4. Resistance to free trade Blaming the British is simply cope.

Road designers at @NHAI_Official genuinely have negative IQ. bc how are they designing these roads with a straight face in 2026??? This is the junction of NH-152G with NH-44 in Haryana. Look at that ramp!! Whoever designed this need to be jailed 20 years for bring low IQ

Concept of GST council is itself flawed, why have we given excessive power to financially irresponsible states to decide union level taxes? CGST and IGST part of GST should solely be determined by centre, not bankrupt states. NDA or not all states are fiscally irresponsible

Why is the hotel supply so low? Land and real estate construction prices are exorbitant, so very very to build and maintain, leading to less supply and high room tariffs.

Corporate R&D is just govt. R&D manifesting itself in commercial form one to two decade down the line. Research and people who lead this research are almost always a product of govt. funded R&D in unis or labs, who then join existing companies or start their own venture when ripe

my very limited view on this is that the american renaissance in tech r&d came after this tax bill in 1981 which boosted r&d. within 10yrs of this they had home computing revolution (msft, apple) and later internet (~15yrs) this was after slow decades of 60-70s. tax policies
