The SLI's Lead and Aspire Mentoring Program pilot kicked off this morning with more than 70 participants coming together for a day of professional learning. The group is considering why mentoring is important in schools and what skills are needed for effective mentoring.

The SLI has taken the Regional, Rural and Remote Middle Leader Program to the state's north this week. Today 30 principals from 6 networks joined SLI Director @JJarvis1 and the team in Ballina to kick off their school's involvement in the tailored professional learning.

A beautiful day for our Connecting to Country walk for #NSWDoESLAPLP Cohort 10 participants. Big thanks to Trent, Kyle and Shay from Parramatta City Council who shared thier knowledge of the traditional significance of the trees, waterways and environment in the Parramatta area.

SL-APLP Cohort 11 are together for another day of leadership learning. This morning the group heard from state emeritus Professor @RobinsonViviane focused on student centred leadership.
