Interesting take but SB509 doesn’t criminalize criticism, it clarifies accountability. There’s a big difference between debating ideas and acting as a conduit for foreign interests. If your concern is being labeled a foreign agent, maybe ask why that fear hits so close to home.
Let’s be honest. If you think SB509 should be law, it’s because you want to harass people—calling them foreign agents and spies—when they call out a foreign theocratic separatist movement linked to terrorism here and in India. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
