Just cancelled my @AnthropicAI Claude Max subscription. They silently switched from daily limits to weekly limits. Exceeding your quota and having to wait a few hours is frustrating but manageable. Having to wait a few days is not in any way viable whatsoever.

Let's face it. I have not met my full Twitter potential. I blame a lack of beers. I usually try for 5 before lunch, followed by shooters. Then I rapid fire 10 or 12 more beers to reach my threshold. I now have a beer fund/Subscribe button on my home page for those who can dig it.

Today was a nice milestone for Tau5. The GitHub CI now auto-builds a fresh Linux AppImage for each commit. I was able to download the latest ARM64 AppImage as a single file and run it on my Raspberry Pi - simply by launching it. It worked :-)

It says a lot about the corpus of existing code when the first thing the LLM does when it encounters a segfault due to execution order of concurrent threads is to introduce a timer to delay part of the computation. WTF?!? Who on earth does this? Clearly a lot of people...
