I've been coding non-stop for the last 23 years. Mined Bitcoin in 2009 (and lost it all). Helped coordinate the launch of EOS. Even scaled an exchange at ZebPay. Now, I'm the CTO of @On_Veera, building for 5.2M+ users. Here's what I've learned about building in Web3 so far:

Here's what we're learning about incentives at @On_Veera: Users don't switch from Chrome or Safari without a reason. Privacy features help, but our questing engine is the real hook. The interesting part? Rewards aren't designed to keep users forever. They're designed to make

We're entering a new phase at @On_Veera. It's time to move faster and build closer with our community. - Shipping features based on real user feedback. - Expanding integrations and improving cross-chain performance. - More transparent communication about our roadmap and

Unpopular opinion: Most people in Web3 barely interact with anything onchain beyond basic wallet transactions. Three reasons this needs to change: - You can't evaluate what you haven't used - New protocols die without actual users testing and providing feedback - The best

When we got together to work on @On_Veera, most of the team had virtually zero Web3 experience. You’d think that that’d immediately put us in a disadvantageous position right? Surprisingly tho, that was our super power 👇🏻

Truly believe that technology is the most powerful tool we have for solving human problems at scale. Here's what makes tech uniquely transformational: - Scale: Good solutions can reach billions instantly - Accessibility: Removes geographic and economic barriers - Iteration:

Naval Ravikant's thinking completely changed how I approach building companies. Discovered his work during my lowest point in Norway after burning out from an e-Health startup. His ideas about wealth creation through specific knowledge pushed me to take bigger risks - EOS

Damn that tuna looks delicious. Note to self: make sure to not miss the next event the guys head to, especially if that place has amazing food.

Some snippets from last night's tuna carving dinner hosted by @zksync, @grvt_io, and @AbstractChain. Nothing like watching a master chef break down fresh tuna while discussing the future of Web3 🫡

When we started building @On_Veera, everyone said crypto UX was impossible to fix. Good thing that our team loves proving people wrong. Consumer crypto will prevail.

Crypto's experience on mobile devices was fundamentally broken when we started building Veera. Everyone was cramming browsers into wallets, creating embedded experiences that couldn't handle basic sites. So we flipped the problem on its head: take a world-class browser first,

Personally a fan of the way Kalshi approaches marketing. Most projects spend millions on conferences and twitter ads targeting people already in crypto. Kalshi is going after regular people who've never heard of prediction markets but love having opinions about elections.

Kalshi has an insane approach to marketing. You can’t walk around the streets of NYC without seeing ads about betting on who the next mayor will be. People love to be right and think they have an edge. Billboards are actually super cheap, and I bet they have exponentially

I remember seeing gesture interfaces in Minority Report for the first time, which made me light up as a young and aspiring techie, hoping I'd be able to experience that someday. The new Ray-Ban Display glasses with that EMG wristband are bringing that teenage dream closer to

The best feature requests come from users who can't articulate what they want. They just know something feels wrong. Learning to translate user frustration into technical solutions is an underrated skill.

My advice to young professionals right now: get familiar with no-code automation tools like https://t.co/ZyQ9bJxugf, but with a caveat: put in the effort to understand the output to avoid leaving yourself open to mistakes. I've been coding for 23 years, but I use tools like this

This Solana infrastructure renaissance seems to be focused on enabling web3 to finally have rails that can handle consumer-scale applications. - sub-150ms finality - efficient token operations - mature market making These updates indicate that they're crossing the threshold

People see me as the CTO who codes daily, but that's just one part of the story. - I've stood on stage playing guitar for 2,500 people. - felt my legs burn during a 54km ski race across Norwegian mountains. - spent entire afternoons chasing the perfect shot with my camera in

Still reeling from the NPM attack announced yesterday. Those of us with enough grey hair have seen similar but smaller-scale incidents and have long feared something on this scale. We mitigated any issues in our platform through strict versioning of NPM packages with security

Naval's right about this, I've been chasing that feeling my entire career. Web3 gives me this rush constantly because everything is still broken and needs fixing. I get the same high from photography - which is why I love traveling around with my camera. And both taught me
