A government funded institution shouldnโt be charging R10k a month for a single room in a shared flat. They own these buildings outright, so they only need to pay for maintenance and insurance. This is just pure greed on the part of UCT management. Every year they pay

I genuinely understand this perspective considering how many BackABuddy campaigns are created every year because of that institution. However, to say that the Black child (because most NSFAS students are Black) from a disadvantaged background must be denied quality education
