I remember one of my PhD students opting to clean my office some years back. I declined and cleaned the office while he watches in awe 🫢.
He thought I was that bossy supervisor. Chris obtained a PhD in Medical Physics long ago.
I am currently mentoring 5 PhD 5/6 MSc
I just read a story about a lecturer in ABU Zaria who spent 13 years in the same university pursuing a Ph.D. and died as a result of depression & partial stroke due to how his supervisor kept frustrating his work and using him as an errand boy.
