My unscientific quick take - cursor cli w gpt 5 seems about the same as Claude Code - pretty much a clone job - I don’t count out Anthropic team on this, they’ll leapfrog Cursor CLI. The coding CLI wars have begun.

Any way to get @claudeai claude code to be more aggressive in choosing to use a subagent? . (besides whats in the docs “use PROACTIVELY” or “MUST BE USED” which doesn't have much effect) . So far seems like you really need to at-mention subagents for the main thread to reliably.

Software engineering demand will 10x due to the rise of agentic software development. Most of that demand will be filled by the agents. We’re headed towards 80% of code in typical PR being written by agents within z years…. Only question, what is the value of z.

I have been fortunate to invest in 11 unicorn founders. The best all hold two thoughts simultaneously. 1. Superiority Complex: they inherently feel they are better than others. 2. Self-Inferiority: they constantly feel they aren’t doing enough, moving fast enough, achieving.

Oh man this is so true - sums up why I’m so bad at leading during the “vp-scaling” startup phase - it kills me to see multiple tiers of this emerge.
Founders never get “too senior” to do the actual work. They’ll always do it, Day 1 or Day 1000. This is often why we struggle with VPs that won’t. And make mishires here. We just assume they will.
