Just finished this by @DavidJohnButler - I read it a few years ago but I want to dive into the sequels so I decided to go through it again. It's beautifully written and dives into the American mythos like few other novels do, but I really wish it was a "secret history" Tim

Ouch - looks like x-rays are negative, but ouch.
Counting our blessings that x-rays on Jhoan Duran were negative after this liner off his ankle…. But at the same time, would be COMPLETELY fine not seeing him on the mound with a 4 run lead again. Goodness gracious.

I'm going to try something different - Lag Delay is going to be free this weekend in all Kindle regions. Haven't tried giving out a free book yet, may as well give it a go! It's a great book but hasn't sold as well as my others, plus there's a standalone sequel coming out soon.

This is arguably the best part of writing.
It’s always a thrilling thing to get to a scene you’ve been envisioning for months on end. But you can’t write it just yet because it requires context, character development, and build-up. Chapter 29 is one of those chapters that needed the first 28 for me to write.
