Eddie, I think the big disconnect for you and Baz: Ronnie's band DOES perform live vocals, guitars, bass & drums. They are a synth, orchestral, and rap-beat heavy band. Misplaced laptops for them are more akin to a Nine Inch Nails show. NIN plays and sings the ROCK sections live.

Would NIN perform “Closer” or “Head Like A Whole” w/ just guitar, bass, and drums? They could try, but why? How would several Linkin Park hits sound without a DJ/tracks? Barring an acoustic show, it is part of the sound for these bands. FIR is the wrong band for Eddie’s argument.
