Play the Game the right way, HARD!!
Effort is the highest form of respect. Not just for yourself or your coaches, but for the game & every player who built that standard before you. Respect the game. Show up. Compete. Empty the tank. One day the noise all fades & your effort is all that remains. That’s your legacy.

Playing catch is not a warmup, it’s a skill!!
If you can’t play catch with a partner from 60-90 feet away and hit him in the chest almost every single time you should not even be talking about playing college baseball. If you can’t play catch correctly you’re never getting on the field.

I am convinced that leadership is about energy. What type of energy do you show? 1. Positive energy is contagious 2. Competitive energy is contagious. 3. Team-first energy is contagious. This is why teams win. They have leaders who transfer this energy to others.

“No throw November” is probably the worst idea (or advice) in all of the pitching world. The only exception to this is if you are feeling pain. Never stop throwing! *throwing does not mean pitching off a mound. Throwing is throwing!
