In case you missed it: Women are less likely to be credited for their scientific contributions than men. It’s true across multiple fields & at all stages, with important repercussions for career progress. #WomenInSTEM #WomenInMedicine #MedTwitter https://t.co/6LsW1sicNJ

When you’re in a conversation with someone, both of you take turns. Regardless of the language we speak, the gap between turns is around 200 milliseconds. How are we able respond so quickly to our partner during conversation? New blogpost by @ruthcorps: https://t.co/KD6UTwuQOz

#brms 2.17.0 is out! It's really nice to finally have manual control of the lower and upper bounds for the intercept. My intercept-only identity-link Bernoulli models fit so smoothly, now.

Academic harassers “love bomb” their student targets, but they express their excessive attention more “academically”. They compliment brilliance, how much better someone is compared to the rest of their cohort, & promise that they can provide opportunities no other advisor can.

For the next few weeks, I'm lecturing on a masters course. I'm not sure l if I'm nervous about lecturing or if I'm nervous about talking in person after 18 months of Zoom-pyjama talks
