Is the SEC playing 4D chess by partnering with Netflix on this before the Big10 could? Netflix has the most reach and seems unlikely they would make a B10 version of this show. Could lead to a recruiting advantage by making it look cool as hell to play in the SEC….

The trailer for Netflix's new series "SEC Football: Any Given Saturday" has officially dropped. Produced by the same people behind F1's Drive to Survive, the series follows 10 SEC teams throughout the 2024 season. Looks incredible.

Seems to get confused on physics/how objects relate to each other when --stylize is high. Couldn't keep track of where the truck and trailer should be relative to each other.

--sw (style weight) tells MJ how closely to copy the style of the sref. Its a number between 0-1000. 0 = ignore the sref and 1000 = max copying. Default is 100. --stylize is how much creativity you want MJ to inject. 0-1000 again. Default is 100.

--sref (style reference) is the most important. You can upload an image, but mj also has magic numbers you can use. tbh I have no idea how to get this particular magic number. apparently you can use "--sref random" until you find one you like or copy from x posts.

Can confirm this is ridiculously easy. OP didn't explain the special sauce that is the Midjourney setting parameters, but Chatgpt was happy to explain to me.

Creating animations like this used to take 3 hours in After Effects. Now with Midjourney, I do it in 3 minutes!. I'll tell you how ridiculously easy it is. 👇

This of course requires an operating business that is making money in the first place. Not easy to do when the avg ecom business is at 6% ebitda margin. Gotta have a tax bill that's worth reducing.

Same argument applies to buying a building for a brick & mortar retail store if that is relevant to your industry.

Everyone knows the US tax code is extremely friendly towards real estate ownership. It's why rich people all end up as landlords eventually. If you own an operating biz + real estate, you have more options for (legally) reducing your tax bill.

Listened to the @andrewjfaris pod with @ChadCarleton. In-house fulfillment is def a difficult "side quest" and not right for most ecom brands. But it can allow you to buy real estate, which has (tax) advantages.

Also how is this even executed tactically? Some sort of feed-based ad? Or programmatically creating ads for a zillion names?.

This is the most annoying type of unsubscribe confirmation page. We were never close random ecom software company who I never wanted emails from in the first place.

If you have any interest in owning an Airbnb, you need to study these categories. Many will see huge boosts in visibility. Camping, countryside, domes, farms, barns, yurts, and containers can be anywhere. But they aren't everywhere yet.

I must live in a dome desert. But I bet domes and A-frames get a similar number of clicks on the new homepage. Before the redesign, there would be no domes in my search results. These listings would get very little visibility when mixed among all others. But not anymore.

Domes don't SEEM that different from A-frames. Both are a little odd. One is pointy and one is not. Both categories are visible without scrolling. But only ONE listing is within 300 miles!

Some categories are competitive and have listings everywhere. A-frames are ubiquitous. The top 12 search results are all within 205 miles. But another category of odd-shaped house is much less competitive.

Every category has plenty of listings across all of Airbnb. But most people aren't willing to travel anywhere in the world. They have geographic constraints. And this is where the opportunity lies.

Airbnb redesigned their homepage around categories. Caves, yurts, vineyards, domes. There is even a category for windmills. But did you realize the arbitrage opportunity they created?. There is A TON of demand up for grabs now. .

Why is the borrowing rate for certain tokens (ex $RAY currently at 77% on solend) so high? Degen leveraged yield farming that outpaces the borrowing cost?. How does it remain high and not get arbitraged away?. cc @nateliason help me wrap my brain around this.
