It's wild to me that the tattoo artists I seem to gravitate towards are all Korean because tattooing is illegal there.

This year has given me a lot to be thankful for. Or maybe this year I learned how to focus on the things to be thankful for. Either way. I'm glad to be here.

it's a whole different level though when someone does not seem to care about the safety of the people they're responsible for. That brings me from stressed to enraged.

Not so positive: Organizing these kinds of events is nerve wracking because things can go wrong. Even if there is a lot of careful planning and warning, some people don't care. It's always stressful to think that people don't always take their safety seriously.

The support from @goodkidbikecity is crucial to me being able to work on this annual event. He definitely clears the mental load so I can focus on this. Forever grateful for this. The support of my family, from my mom to my siblings to my in-laws, is a great motivator.

Today I realized just how deeply it impacted me to see my mom living with an empty fridge. I will never forgive the people that let her reach that point.

Cycling headphones discourse has surfaced again and the question I ask is: why the rush to ban cyclists with headphones while we allow semi-soundproof cars with home theater systems to operate while moving? We want fully focused cyclists but we tolerate distracted driving.
