In a moment of frustration, I ranted to Benjie dela Peña how mobility issues have remained the same. He said, “yeah - there seems to be a 10, 10 pattern: 10 years of advocacy, 10 years of speedy progress.” 7 years into the mobility advocacy, 👀 I can’t wait for the coming 3 years

The government needs to balance its investment in rail services/middle miles with feeder services/first-last miles to get people from their homes to different parts of the city; BRT is the quick win we need to achieve that + a way forward for PUVMP.

I LOVE this album - and I remember very well listening to it (live) for the first time July 2023 in some warehouse on Chino Roces. That was a really good night for Filipino music.

Commuting when 🎶 It’s Raining in Manila . A rarely tackled matter, transport resilience is the ability to keep people + goods moving despite weather disturbances, calamities, issues, etc. As the rainy season rolls in, how much do the rains affect the quality of our commutes?

Here’s an example of parallel or complementary service. It helps fill in gaps or offer higher frequencies and/or additional stops. In this case, a contingency during rail downtime. 🚌 🤝🚊.

Gaps in first and last miles is a factor in the over reliance on cars. Often ignored, these short trips are crucial to get us from our doorstep to the nearest jeep, bus, or rail line. Addressing it is key to reducing road congestion #fmlm #asmr
