We will see what happens - but as of now, they owe my my points, my flights, my upgrades, and compensation for a wasted weekend and the stress of this whole disaster.

Imagine if I had just gone to the airport with my confirmed flight information in hand, and been told that was all cancelled with 0 notification from @KLM or @AirFranceFR and that they had broken my ability to communicate with them.

After wasting about 8 hours of my time dealing with this, I chose to email @AirFranceFR 's fraud department, but I also had to purchase backup tickets through united because I assume they will not get back to me in time.

That agent confirmed that flying blue had suspended my account, blocked my phone and internet access to the site, and never notified me that any of this happened. The only option I had left was to email the fraud department, and hope they do something about it.

She also confirmed there was no way to contact flying blue - we tried for an hour and a half together. Through reddit research, I found that I could re-enter my info on the @KLM app, then when I called again, flying blue finally answered (attempted #25, literally)

I had to drive to the SFO airport to speak to a @KLM agent in person because it was impossible to speak to anyone who could do something on the phone. The gate agent there was able to tell me my account was under investigation.

@KLM customer service took >40 minute to answer each time, couldn't resolve my issue, and transferred me to a dead flying blue customer service line. When I tried calling flying blue on my own, the service number had 2 options, both of which hung up on me repeatedly.

The ONLY reason I learned my flight was cancelled was because I happened to check on the @KLM site this weekend to put my passport info in to save time at the airport.

Still waiting for @KLM and @airfrance to get my seats for me in 2 days. :A HORROR STORY: I purchased tickets to travel from SFO to Berlin through flying blue 6 weeks ago - they then cancelled my flights for suspicion of fraud without notifying me.

I spend every shift apologizing to patients about the horrible care we provide to them even though I have no control over the situation. It is truly crazy making.

We continue to take advantage of the false promise of altruism in medicine when we are really just operating in a capitalist system that values money over patients. Then we gaslight providers into feeling like they need to work harder to solve the problem.

I wonder if it will take bad patient outcomes, provider burnout or mass exodus to make change. But truthfully, I don't know if anything will change until people with money/power experience terrible patient care.

The ED Boarding crisis is so unbelievably demoralizing. I am burnt out and worse at all of my other duties. The ED is literally the worst place in the hospital for providers and patients and the c-suite @UCSF has done nothing meaningful to help.

I joined an over 30 indoor soccer league and it’s just so much fun playing a team sport with other people whose primary goal is not getting injured.
