There was no warning and they were incredibly loud. Even the horses in the stables weren’t ok with it. People don’t come racing for firework displays they come racing for horses.

I watched Chubby’s race on my own and just stood there sobbing. I cannot put into words what this little horse means to our family he’s utterly wonderful talented kind and brilliantly chubby so proud of what our little team achieves.

It’ll never fully sink in how loved naughty Bean is but today hearing all those BEAAAN cheers as we toddled up the final furlong of the Rowley Mile made me feel exceptionally proud of the community Bean, with some help from me, created.

We bought a house! Toast needed a garden so it was the only logical thing to do. My house had to be sold and this one bought. He seems pretty happy with it. Just got to teach him to mow the grass now.

Small win for the day ahead of surgery they had to get me into a gown and luckily on of the nurses was horsy so helped me wedge off my good jodhpurs over my cast 😂 as soon as I said they were my good ones she was not cutting them 😂

We made it and Bean was an angel 😂 anyone who ever says you just sit there can do one, only 8 weeks off and it felt so strange for the first 10 minutes but we did it and it didn’t hurt a bit 🙌🏻 bring on the rest of the season!

It’s a bit nuts on TikTok but wow do they love Bean. What I love most though is the people who tell me we’ve changed their attitude about racing and that’s why I keep doing what I’m doing because even if I’ve changed just 1 persons mind it’s worth it to showcase our sport.

Here’s the impact of hitting a horse;
- Your car will likely be written off
- You will have your insurance claim go through the roof
- Ideally should get a ban but owing to the fact our police don’t seem to care that likely won’t happen & finally you injured an innocent animal.

It’s getting mentioned a lot that horses are drifting in the last furlong it’s not surprising when you consider the majority of the 2 and 3yos running have never seen a crowd let alone 12,000 people. When you consider it they’re all handling it brilliantly.

He’s led almost every bit of work our Royal Ascot runners have done he leads Chubby, Cake and the Bubbala up the Long Hill most days in between the mayhem he’s a phenomenal lead horse for our team.
He really ought to be rated higher 😂
Decided as my works are done and I gots all neigh bours under my leadership to Royal Ascot safely (chubby nearly earned double snacks for life) I can take a days rest to help the arthritic leg in tha heat. Is a tough job but I am, incredible, at it. 🥕

Bean ran a blinder over 6f drawn in the car park and most importantly we’re home safe we had to slam out on the bend but he came from last to 8th and tried his heart out for me, I couldn’t ask for more 🥰

Just to say I hold absolutely no grudge to Bean it was a total misjudgement on his part I think he forgot I wasn’t in long stirrups and just went for it. I can’t explain the happiness I felt when I caught him! I will heal and we will be back together hopefully within 6 weeks.
Can confirm I miss tha Small Human. Have been heckin relegated to 2nd in tha string. Will be ensuring once SH is back we are back ats tha front once again. Also I have offered SH all of my snacks to assist in the recovery from the plastic bag attac. 🍎🥕
