Well, that was a day! Yesterday was a good day for two of our teams with Rochdale Town Centre winning gold in the National @RHSBloom awards, and Spotland and Falinge in Bloom winning silver gilt in the Urban community category! Congratulations to all involved 👏

A perfect day in Taylor Park! Sunshine, planting & a wonderful VE Day lunch with our amazing volunteers. We weeded, planted annuals (thanks to the 9th Heywood Scouts’ plant sale!). Enjoyed a well-earned buffet, good chats, and a toast to those who gave so much.@rochdaleinbloom

Yesterday, I met with @The_RHS judges at our beautifully restored Town Hall after they toured our stunning floral displays🪻 It was an honour to lead them onto the balcony where Queen Elizabeth once greeted the people of #Rochdale👋🏼 #RochdaleInBloom #PrideInOurTown
