By 6/11/21, Florida is first state to enter EXPONENTIAL growth phase in COVID cases in US. By 7/30/21, cases are growing exponentially in 35 states. Shewhart Charts are the best early detection system we have. https://t.co/70AuCD0E3N

Are Shewhart charts rapidly detecting where COVID-19 variants are taking hold? Our model is detecting exponential growth in COVID-19 cases in only 3 European countries presently

No more state rankings and maps pls. State performance in vaccine usage when we account for variation across all states and number of doses received. Virtually all states are within limits; what can we learn? Doesn’t say who is receiving vaccine.

This is the same data model used to show opioid deaths were headed in the wrong direction in early 2019, when policymakers were touting progress amid the crisis. unfortunately it was spot-on then. worth paying attention to now with COVID-19. @rocco_perla
