This is at least the third year in a row where I've covered Comcast jacking up broadband and TV rates only weeks before Christmas. You'd think at some point that somebody in Comcast PR would question this Grinch-esque timing.

A Comcast rep says most TV bundles will increase by $2 a month, but other reports indicate a $4 internet hike, $6 TV-bundle increase, $4 jump in broadcast-TV rates, and a $1 bump in 'RSN' fees.

In case anybody here is not clear on the importance of voting in state and local elections, not just ones that send candidates to D.C., see this thread noting how close some of yesterday's races in Virginia now stand pending counts of provisional ballots.
🧵 on outstanding VA Races . Mail ballots postmarked yesterday can be received until Monday at Noon. There are also provisionals (not all will count) w most being same-day registration from young voters. Both these lean heavily Dem. Provisional Stats. 1/5.
