- Or, we determine if the conversation topic is well suited to written English format. We use text messaging and apps/typing on laptops or tablets. - If specialized vocab isn’t likely to come up in the conversation, we might use a speech-to-text app: Otter, Ava, Live Transcribe

Had to mention this app, Live Transcribe has made such a huge difference in communicating with my dad. He’s always been HOH but after his most recent stroke auditory processing was also impacted. He can read ok & this voice to text is quite accurate. Best $50 I’ll spend this yr

Are you traveling to a country where you don’t speak the language? We’re looking for 10-15 people to try out Translator Gator 🐊. I used it about 2 hours per day while traveling in Japan 🇯🇵 and Taiwan 🇹🇼. Completely transformed my experience. Comment if you’d like to try it.

3. Use GPT-3 plus speech to text and text to speech to build a sleep chat bot. You can chat with it at the end of the day when you’re winding downing trying to fall asleep. Sure it’d be expensive. But if it actually helps people sleep, there’s a huge market for it.

2. Build out a notes app with better search than Evernote. Include Evernote export. Add some AI and call it Clevernote. 😂

Here are some ideas to get you thinking. 1. Build out a web based checkout for app developers. Allow them to cater it to their app and enter in an AppsFlyer link to go to the App Store and Play Store. Call it https://t.co/m4urx0jsOa and buy the domain for $4k.

You’ve got an app business idea. You’re not sure how to: ✅ Validate it 📢 Market it 🤷‍♂️ Who it’s for 💰How much to charge 🛑 When to stop Just @ me and shoot your shot. I’ll consider investing up to $5k if it has a shot.

Looking forward to one day have a team big enough to split out these research efforts. Pays dividends to know the bleeding edge.

This tweet from Sveta has an incredible set of very honest replies. To summarize: Indie Entrepreneurship is: - Incredibly lonely - An emotional rollercoaster - 5 different jobs at once - A struggling bank account - More marketing (than desired) But ultimately? Feels worth it.

I've read a lot of threads and discussions about the advantages of being an Indie Entrepreneur. Time to talk about the disadvantages. What's the biggest pain you faced?

Happiness is the worlds best productivity hack. Optimize for Mood over MRR and you’ll start seeing better results in a week. The easiest way to get started to track your Mood with a free tool like @hellodaylio (not sponsored) Then reflect once a week on how you can improve.

There’s two things that I guarantee will always pay off for an early startup: 1. Learning how to better use a marketing channel you enjoy. (Buy a course or ask an expert) 2. Have a conversation with one of your target customers. (Or setup a way to talk to them, regularly.)

It’s never a bad time to take a deep breath, stretch, and take a 5 min walk outside. 🌞 That goes double for startup founders who haven’t reached profitability yet. 🙃 A happier you is more creative and better at problem solving. 🤔 Take care of yourself. The road is long. 🏃

Hitting people at their time of greatest need is so friggen simple. But it’s insanely powerful. My best customers are those who’ve just lost their hearing.

After 10 years of building consumer social apps, I've decided to start exploring new areas. Building these products is an unforgiving grind—but I learned a lot along the way. For those embarking on this path, here's everything you need to know: TIME FOR A THREAD 👇
