I used to try and set it to 2.5 or even 3 because that's my actual walking pace, but 2 MPH is much more sustainable and easier to actually do things at my desk for long periods. I actually work up a decent sweat after an hour.

I've started having a lot more success with my under-desk treadmill once I accepted that I could set it lower than I would for a regular walking workout.

Nothing stops my ADHD brain in it's tracks while learning something new as much as this: "this tutorial assumes you know X, to learn about X go read/watch this other thing first". Then rinse, and repeat forever.
