@postsuffering @dwarkesh_sp It’s extraordinary (& distressing) that the abolitionist project is still fringe. Sure, the only way to phase out the biology of suffering is controversial, i.e. genome reform. But the long-term ethical payoff is so incredibly high, debate on abolition deserves to go mainstream.
