In the past two years, I've played in 42 tournaments and cashed 14 of them (1/3), including a deep run at the WSOP $5K 8-handed event last year in which I battled like hell from half a BB to start the final day to reach the last 3 tables. Need to find a final table this year.

You should not win WSOP player of the year just because you final table a bunch of 90 entry PLO, Seven Card Stud, and Razz tournaments. It's much more impressive to finish top 100 or so in any massive NHL MTT. They need to fix that formula.

The Astros were a massive Vegas trap. You'll never find me putting money on a 52-34 team against a 19-67 team. I'd need -5000 odds on the favorite to even consider it. They love pushing across this David-Goliath narrative to take the average Joe's hard-earned paper.

Well, looks like I won't be flying back to Vegas for the WSOP next weekend. Change of plans. It was an uneventful summer here - 0/2 in the Mystery Millions and Millionaire Maker to hurt my otherwise great tourney cash rate. Probably won't play again until NAPT or WPT Prime 👋.
