4/4 #antigen screening protocols could prevent the âneedâ to implement this type of draconian; baseless & divisive policy in our schools. At least it would be science & evidence based & would empower kids to take responsibility for their own health.

3/4 This doesnât make sense & looks like a way to divide our society into the vaccinated & the unvaccinated. I believe the vaccines weaken the link between infection & death/hospitalisation. But I donât believe in coercing people into medical interventions for âan easier lifeâ.

2/4 Yet new rules from @education_ire & @HSELive mean that unvaccinated kids will be subject to the usual test/isolation restrictions for up to 14 days while vaccinated kids will not. Even tho they could be harbouring as much virus as the unvaccinated.

1/4 Itâs clear that vaccinated can transmit #Covid_19 - âdespite the protection offered by vaccines, a proportion of vaccinated people can pass on Delta, possibly aiding its riseâ.

Nature - Emerging data suggest that Delta could spread more readily than other coronavirus variants among people vaccinated against COVID-19. But key questions remain.

@RealEddieHobbs The UK's Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has judged it is NOT acceptable, "JCVIâs view is that the minimal health benefits of offering universal COVID-19 vaccination to children do not outweigh the potential risks."

The number of people being treated on trolleys increased by 212% this June (5,179) compared to June 2020 (2,444). This is shocking at a time when hospitals are not under pressure from #COVID19 and the Government has apparently been spending billions to increase capacity.
For all of the billions of euro that have been spent addressing the pandemic, the Government has failed to build sufficient hospital capacity. Full video - https://t.co/0yzGZNfgoM
