Goan football has incredible potential - out of 18 games between Mumbai and Goa teams in RFDL zonal round this year, Mumbai teams only won 2 matches (0/12 against Dempo & FC Goa).We need stakeholders to come together to harness this and produce more players & stories like Brison.
This article raises many important issues, highlights the shortcomings of every stakeholder in Goa and rightly so. While Brison's individual journey is one to be admired not every young player has similar opportunity. The ecosystem needs a big rework for more Brison's to emerge.
