Terrible scenes in Bondi. Appalling and distressing to see the Jewish community targeted again. Here in the UK we stand in solidarity and must do what is necessary to confront this terrorist ideology. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.

By letting Nvidia’s H200 be sold to China, Trump has given Beijing a major boost in the AI race and weakened the West’s advantage. That makes it more likely the world ends up running on Chinese technology. I explain why that matters in my column today 👇 https://t.co/rjVJkt5UPp

Great to share a stage talking about AI and how it can improve public services with Forrest Li - an old friend from my Stanford days. Fewer hoodies, slightly bigger audiences.

Just settle with the doctors. That was common advice I received. Coming from an NHS family, I get the pressures doctors face. But without reform, higher pay means higher taxes and no better outcomes. I set out the reforms needed in @thetimes today 👇 https://t.co/vI1mgqnsz9

Productivity in the health service is falling at a £20bn cost to the taxpayer. From more managers in hospitals to patient choice, reform is vital

Cyber threats from hostile states are rising fast. In Parliament I urged the Government to deepen Five Eyes cooperation and ensure the UK stays ahead.

I spent too much of my time as Chancellor and PM firefighting (Covid, Ukraine, the mini-Budget). This week’s Budget didn’t face those shocks, yet it still ducked the big choices. It felt like a survival Budget. My reflections in @thetimes 👇 https://t.co/GQW3LFjegL

Last night @CalvinBailey, @HelenMorganMP and I delivered a cross-party letter signed by over 120 MPs to @wesstreeting calling for targeted prostate cancer screening for high-risk men. No man should die from this disease because of his postcode, ethnicity or ability to see a GP.

Very glad to hear David's treatment for prostate cancer has been successful. Speaking so openly will encourage more men to get checked earlier, and I agree with him that Britain needs a targeted national screening programme for high-risk men.
The words you never forget: “I’m afraid it could be cancer”. On hearing this news - affected deeply by my brother’s premature death - I acted quickly & was lucky. So today I’m adding my name to the campaign calling for a prostate cancer screening programme.

Budgets are under strain across Europe. Strikingly, some of the so-called “Piigs” have already taken tough decisions and are now growing faster and borrowing less than countries that delayed reform. My column today looks at what that means for Britain 👇 https://t.co/VLp627Xa6O

It’s Maths Week England! 🎉 To celebrate, we spent time at MathsWorld, exploring how numbers connect everything from puzzles and patterns to engineering, music, movement and design. We’re delighted to be supporting initiatives like these here at The Richmond Project.

Congratulations to @TomCruise on his Oscar. Alongside four decades of unforgettable films, he’s been a real supporter of British cinema, backing our studios, our crews, and helping the industry stay afloat through Covid. A huge contribution to British film, on and off screen.

The BBC often drove me crackers when I was PM. But despite its flaws it remains one of Britain’s most valuable assets and a global voice for democratic values in an ideologically contested age. My column on what change at the BBC must look like 👇 https://t.co/uSetzPHDlH
